Terms of sale
Purchases
Checkout is handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for workbook purchases: Stripe is the seller on the transaction, handles the payment, and takes care of any sales tax. Stripe may therefore be the name that appears on your card statement. We never see or store your card number. We receive only the fact of a completed payment, your email address, and which workbook it was.
Tax. Prices are shown before tax. Where the law requires it, sales tax for your location is calculated and added at checkout, so the total you pay may be a little more than the listed price. You see the exact amount before you pay.
Delivery
The workbook is a digital download, made for you when you ask for it: if you saved a preview in the free tool before buying, your book opens with that preview. Right after checkout you land on your download page. The link there works 12 times over 30 days, so you can move the file to the device you actually want it on. If the link runs out or you lose it, write to hello@regionalgarden.com from the address you bought with and it will be re-issued.
Refunds
30 days, full refund, no reason needed. Write to hello@regionalgarden.com from the address you bought with and say the word; the refund goes back through Stripe. You keep whatever you have already downloaded, though the download link itself closes when the refund is issued. If the workbook is simply not what you expected, that is a good enough reason, and we would rather know.
What you may do with your workbook
Print it as often as you like, for yourself, your household, or a class you teach. Do not resell it, and do not post the file for public download. The underlying botanical data is public; the compilation, writing, and layout are not.
Reference, not advice
The workbook is reference and timing for your state, offered in good faith. It is not a planting plan for your specific ground, and nothing in it is a safety or edibility claim. Confirm suitability for your area with your state native plant society or extension office before you buy plants.
